For those of you following along....a very big part of our county in Greeneville TN, Erwin, TN, Hot Springs, NC...have suffered catastrophic damage that will take years to rebuild. Yep, we are completely landlocked and the rivers rose up and almost washed us away. But we are still here...and doing all we can to help each other through. A good chunk of out county has power back, many have internet, but no one has water. That doesn't JUST mean no showers. It means, no work for a lot of people. It means no cooking real food for a lot of people.
Chris and I have been blessed and suffered no damage. But for him, it's tricky to work. He has a limited water supply on the truck, but he solved the problem of where to get more.
Welp, if we've been FB friends for a while, you may or may not have seen a post from me over the years about my husband being a 'helper'. So with this, he's helping the best way he knows how. He's gotten to together with other food truckers and created a plan to set up in random areas around the county and feed the people. For.Free.
