Over the past several months, I’ve been rethinking what I want 34 North Consulting to be, and more importantly, what kind of work I actually care about doing.
The answer kept coming back to the same thing: finding the gaps in the way a business operates and engineering solutions.
The spreadsheet that has become too complicated. The process that depends on one person remembering every step. The information scattered across systems that do not communicate. The repetitive work that should be automated or streamlined. The reporting that takes hours to assemble but still does not give anyone a clear answer.
That is the work I enjoy most. Understanding how a business actually operates, identifying where the friction and bottlenecks are, and building a practical solution around it.
That solution might be a custom application, an internal portal, an automated workflow, a reporting dashboard, or a better web platform. The technology changes depending on the problem. The goal does not. Make the work clearer, faster, more reliable, and easier to manage.
That focus is now at the center of 34 North Consulting.
