It’s time to pour some love back into our clients, one of our favorite things to do! Recently, we had the pleasure of launching a new website for our client, Delrisha Hayes, founder of Just Write About It.

DIY isn't free; it's exceptionally expensive.

That "money-saving" project wastes time and distracts you from what you should be working on instead.

Listen, we get it. It feels easier in the moment. But in reality, it only gets you a mediocre website at best.

DIY feels empowering. You're saving money, learning new skills, and keeping control firmly at your desk.

But here's the thing: your time isn't free, and it's worth a lot more than you think. The rabbit holes of DIY projects you keep diving down are costly.

Let's break it down:

💸 Opportunity cost. Every hour spent fumbling through a new task is an hour not spent in your zone of genius.

⤴ The learning curve is steep and expensive. Mistakes happen, and they can cost you big time. Remember that website you built that crashed during a launch? Yeah, me too.

💁🏻‍♀️ "Good enough" rarely is. In a world of increasing competition, mediocre is no longer enough.

🫠 Your energy is finite. Struggling through unfamiliar tasks drains you, leaving less creative juice for the work that actually moves the needle.

🤹🏼‍♀️ Growth requires focus. Juggling too many hats means you're not excelling at the ones that matter most.

We are not saying never DIY. But be strategic. Ask yourself: "Is this the best use of my time?" If the answer's no, it might be time to invest in the expertise of others and take it off the to-do list.
