What are you doing the last weekend in September? Come.Ride.Mankato 🚲

Greater Mankato Bike & Walk Advocates and Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota are planning a FUN weekend for you and your friends and family.

Saturday - you can go for a 🚶🏼‍♀️walk and/or come ride the singletrack trails at Mount Kato with our biking friends🚵‍♀️ MAMB - Mankato Area Mountain Bikers. Afterwards let’s celebrate with some snacks 🌭 and a bonfire.🔥

Sunday - Mount Kato is going to be the place to be! All registered riders will depart on either a paved route or a gravel route from 8am-10am. Once you return, we will have Dam Store pie🥧 waiting for you as a THANK YOU for supporting our fundraiser. Plan on being out there all afternoon because Kato cyclocross will be going on to watch. Food trucks will be out there. Biking advocacy/vendors will be out there to chat with.

Minnesota State University, Mankato: Department of Social Work connects with their alumni, prospective students, and like-minded professionals at conferences and events throughout the year. They asked me to design custom stickers that reflect the values of their profession to use as giveaways. These 3" by 3" die cut stickers have broad appeal but still include a nod to University colors.

Fishing with Dylan is passionate about fishing. He's building a brand to not only reel in the big walleye in competitions, but also teach others how to fish. He came to me looking for a logo, and we had a great time working together to come up with the perfect one.

Dylan's brand has two purposes:
1. Gain sponsorships and compete in professional fishing competitions
2. Use YouTube and social media to encourage and teach others who are new to fishing, helping them be successful in their passion for fishing too

By keeping the logo clean and simple with a hint of motion, drive, and adventure, this logo appeals to Dylan's most valuable market and speaks to who he is. 🍂There's a new fall event for bicyclists in Mankato, and I'm proud to have created the logo! 🍂

Greater Mankato Bike Walk Advocates are working hard to make Mankato a friendly place for human-powered transportation. I've been fortunate to work with them on a few of their logo and branding projects. With this one, we had a few goals:

✅ Align the colors with the Kato Bike Walk brand
✅ Bring in a fall vibe
✅ Make sure to include a nod to the river, Mt. Kato, and bikes
✅ Appeal to a wide audience, from casual riders and families to more serious and racing cyclists

I was honored to create the first ever Annual Report for B the Light, a local non-profit organization that has been life-changing for me.

From making suggestions about what to include, to editing text, to layout and design, this is a Blue Sun project from start to finish!

Project priorities:
✅ Help potential donors understand the mission of the organization and the impact it has on breast cancer survivors
✅ Make it engaging by reducing text when possible
✅ Make it beautiful, using the brand colors and a clean, modern vibe

Reports like these are a lot of work, but I make it easy. You compile the information, then leave it to me to make it informative, engaging, and beautiful.

Hel-LO 2025! I see you with your new logo and brand!

It was SO much fun to work with local realtor Samantha Kaul to get her ready to jump into the new year with a totally new brand.

When people are looking for a new home, they're looking to find their new place of comfort, welcome, and safety. They're looking for a realtor that has the expertise to make it happen. Samantha never stops - she's always there for her clients, no matter the time of day or night. With these two ideas, the image of a porchlight rose to the top!

We built the color palette around the Century 21 gold color to create her own identity within the Century 21 brand. From there we brainstormed a tagline, I created a new cover image for her page, and BAM! Samantha is confidently stepping into the new year with a new vibe.

At 1 Million Cups Mankato learning all about Half Pint Brewing Company and Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm and their remarkable partnership in Waseca, MN.

If you’ve never attended 1MC, I encourage you to check it out on the first Weds of the month, 8:30am in the Hubbard Building downtown Mankato. There’s not one in January; next one is Feb 5.
