Check out the very first Gustav Marx Advertising Agency's financial ledger. Notice the date, Sept. 24, 1920. Look carefully, the first ledger entry, besides the $50 opening balance, was a $4.50 debit for "this book." Seems sort of pricey for the day. Happy Friday, everyone! Do you know what Sept 24, 2015 is? Our family's 95th Anniversary in the Advertising/Marketing/Branding business. First day of the Gustav Marx Advertising Agency was September 24, 1920! 1920! More on that as the date approaches.
