Group color analysis is so fun!! I recently had the pleasure of draping two sets of sisters: aunt, mother, and twin daughters. It was really interesting to all of us to see what their differences and similarities are. The twins were especially exciting for me. They are both cool-neutral, but at different levels of saturation.

While having your color analysis is really fun, watching other people have their analysis can be just as enjoyable! Often times it helps the client get a better understanding of what color harmony looks like.

Before the craziness of the holidays, I was invited to the cutest boutique!! in Paris, TN hosted the most lovely women in town. I had the best time, and enjoyed such a great variety of color palettes. From mother/daughter to sister/sister, it was a wonderful trip and experience.

Looking at color harmony is always so exciting to me. It honestly never gets old. I love the dramatic contrast of a Dark Winter. Their color combos can be wildly expressive, or subtly seductive. Dynamic. Regal. Majestic. It is such a versatile palette.

This sweet couple recently got engaged, and now they know their best colors for the wedding!! We also talked about how to make their wedding colors work with both of their Autumn palettes. And their ideal photo drop is the beautiful Autumn landscape, as leaves started turning to various shades of brown. Knowing your best colors takes all the guess work out, and helps to reduce decision fatigue.🙌🏼

It’s family photo season!!! Don’t we all love a carefully curated family portrait?! Everyone looks so put together, like a magazine. Who can tell if the baby was just screaming, or your car got broken into?🙃 Good thing looking this good doesn’t take as much work as you would think. Wearing the right colors, and having the right background can make all the difference. I LOVE helping clients coordinate their family pics!!

Getting your colors done is SO fun!! But getting your colors done with a buddy is even better! I love buddy appointments. Mothers/daughter, best friends, even mother-in-laws make for great color companions. It’s really amazing to see how you react to the drapes. It’s also amazing to see how someone else reacts to the same drapes. I feel like having color analysis done with someone can give you a better understanding of the three dimensions of color.
