🚨 Rebrand Frustration Alert 🚨

Y’all… we’ve been trying to change our name from Easton Design to SummerBrook Media on Facebook and let’s just say—Meta is not making it easy.

We actually talked to a real human at Meta (yes, that unicorn exists!) and their advice? The tech support equivalent of “turn it off and turn it back on again.” 🫠

So here’s the deal: we’re waiting for our Meta Verified status under Easton Design to expire before we can reapply under our new name. Fingers crossed that actually works. 🤞

Ironically, Instagram was a breeze. Go figure.

This whole situation is why we’ve been a bit quiet after our big rebrand—debating whether to start fresh or just keep pushing forward here. For now, we’re pushing. Because we’re not about to let a red tape speed bump stop the momentum.

👉 PSA: If you’re rebranding or launching a new business, double check your FB page name early in the process. Meta doesn’t make it easy to change later—even if you’re verified.

On that note, being Meta Verified does work when it comes to getting a real person on the phone. Plans start at $12/month. And while we’re not wild about paying for a checkmark, it’s honestly more than that—it’s protection and access.

The hunt continues across Johnson County & West Branch with eggs hidden at other amazing local businesses! Check Local Hub’s social media throughout the day for clues and updates—you never know where the next prize might pop up. 👀🐇

Here’s how it works:
• Clues drop at 10 AM to email subscribers (sign up at Local Hub’s website for a head start!)
• Clues go public at 11 AM on social media
• Find the egg at a participating business—one egg per person, please!
• Inside each egg:
– A special prize
– A clue that leads to the Golden Egg, revealed at 4 PM

At 4 PM, it’s go time! The search for the Golden Egg begins—a grand prize packed with gift cards, local merch, and more, valued at over $575! 🏆💛
