🎥✨ A look behind the scenes from a recent production with the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma

We produced a series of 12 talking head interviews featuring leaders across the energy industry, capturing both long form conversations and short form vertical content during the same production day.

For this setup, we ran:
• Cam A + Cam B for the main interview
• A third camera dedicated entirely to vertical framing for social content

🔍 NiSi Athena lenses

One of the things I love most about documentary style interviews is finding ways to create content that feels polished while still allowing the conversation to breathe naturally on camera. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes to make something feel simple.

🎥✨ For the past three years, I’ve worked with on Entrepreneurs Cup, and it’s a project I genuinely look forward to every year.

We start with a pitch competition, capturing interviews with participants and filming their ideas as they present. Our setup is intentional a green screen, three camera angles, controlled lighting, and clean audio so every story feels elevated and consistent.

Then comes about two weeks of intense post production where everything starts to take shape.

From there, my team and I produce participant stories, finalist videos, and build out the motion graphics and visual identity that carry the entire experience.

And seeing it all come to life on stage makes every part of that process worth it. I’m incredibly grateful to i2Eand for their continued trust and for bringing us in year after year.

🎥✨Here’s a project I worked on a little while back with First Americans Museum and one I really loved how it turned out.

We collaborated closely with the museum team to develop the scripts and shape the messaging for a series of welcome videos used at the beginning of events. In this case, video wasn’t about promotion. It was about connection. Using video as a way to welcome guests, set the tone, and help people feel grounded in the space from the very beginning.

Projects like this are especially meaningful to me. They live at the intersection of culture and education, which means I get to do the work I love while also learning through the process and the people I get to collaborate with.

From a production standpoint, everything was filmed on a Sony FX3 with NiSi Athena lenses and lit using an Aputure 600D with a diffusion frame to soften the light and keep the look consistent and true to the space.

🎥✨ A behind the scenes look at some of the projects from 2025 that made me fall in love with the work that I do all over again.

⏰ 🎥✨Mark your calendars!
After a year on the international film festival circuit, Blend Ability is finally coming to YouTube on November 20.

This project started as a six-minute short film and has grown into something far bigger than I could have imagined. The response from audiences, the awards, and the festival recognitions have all confirmed what I’ve felt from the beginning: stories like these need to be told.

As I look ahead, I’m actively seeking partners, donors, and collaborators who share a passion for inclusion and believe in the power of storytelling to create real change. The next phase of Blend Ability will expand into a full documentary series, continuing to spotlight the extraordinary individuals redefining what’s possible.
