Captive Visual Marketing (CVM) Offering affordable digital advertising solutions in Michigan since 2011. We focus on bringing advertising and information content to high-traffic areas.

Captive Visual Marketing is an advertising concept to promote your product or service in front of your current and potential customers where it can’t be missed, reinforcing your brand or product. Your targeted advertisement will be displayed on HD Displays strategically placed in your local market in high traffic areas where people are in line or waiting. This provides an opportunity to focus on d

ifferent pockets of your business that the public may not know about, promoting local shopping and increasing your sales. CVM can create a professional, custom ad, approved by you, that will display a minimum of every 12 minutes, or send us your own ad copy. Your selected advertisement will be displayed on a monthly basis in locations in your local market unless there is a competitive conflict at a host location.

Make sure to visit The Arc of St. Clair County and see what amazing things they are doing! And please donate--money and time!

A special thank you goes out to Joel at Captive Visual Marketing LLC. CVM donated space to The Arc for the whole six weeks that we did our first auction. He also helped us navigate the marketing skills needed for successful ads on his site. Thank you Joel for all your help. We couldn't have done it without you!!! Looking forward to using you again soon.

As of today, we are operating at near-full capacity for our advertising networks in the Blue Water Area. We are happy to be getting back to normal and will resume regular billing at this time (June will be 50% prorated).

Please contact us if you'd like to start up new advertising with CVM!

04/06/2020

As things are looking to open up more in the middle of the month, our target date to "get back to normal" in terms of advertising, billing, etc. is June 15. There are already several of our display locations that are back open now in limited capacity, and with limited "traffic" in terms of viewers. That looks to change significantly in the next two weeks.

We will be doing a prorated billing for the month of June for current customers, with significant discounts for any new customers.

Let us know if your business has been affected in a major way by the Covid crisis. We'll see what we can do to get you back up and running with some advertising in a highly affordable manner.

We're looking forward to a busy summer in the Blue Water area!

14/05/2020

With the current crisis with Covid-19, our advertising displays in many locations have been turned off temporarily. We are currently on hold for new customers, and have paused any new invoices for new customers until a significant reopening has occurred. We will continue to update you here on Facebook with where we stand concerning when we are back in (somewhat) normal business mode. Thanks for your patience in this time.

We had a great loss over the weekend. Dennis Peternel, original founder of CVM, and my brother-in-law, passed away in his sleep early Saturday morning. He was a great guy with a big heart, always one to look for the best in a situation and make sure everyone was having a good time. Please pray for our families and friends, especially my sister Kate, Dennis's wife.

Our Story

Captive Visual Marketing is an advertising concept to promote your product or service in front of your current and potential customers where it can’t be missed, reinforcing your brand or product. Your targeted advertisement will be displayed on HD kiosks strategically placed in your local market in high-traffic, high-density areas where people are in line or sitting for long periods of time (market lines, restaurants, doctor’s office waiting rooms, etc.). This provides an opportunity to focus on different pockets of your business that the public may not know about, promoting local shopping, and increasing your sales. CVM can create a professional, custom ad, approved by you, that will display a minimum of every 8 minutes, or send us your own ad copy. Your selected advertisement will be displayed on a monthly basis in locations in your local market unless there is a competitive conflict at a host location.

If you have no idea where to start with creating an advertisement, we are there to help you! We offer ad design and creation FREE of charge (with the exception being if stock photos or other royalty-free material needs to be purchased, which is usually a very small fee, if any).

We have three different networks, based on location. There is the original St. Clair/Marine City Network, the Port Huron/Marysville Network, and the more tourist-oriented Discover the Blue Network that runs along the coastline from Algonac to Port Austin (with the highest concentration of displays being from St. Clair to Lexington). Discover the Blue is run in partnership with the Blue Water Convention & Visitors Bureau, headquartered at the Thomas Edison Inn in Port Huron.
