Today, March 27th, feels like the perfect full-circle moment.

It marks what would have been our founder Andre Pope’s birthday—and the very day we’re proudly launching our brand-new website at designcypher.com.
Back in 2017, this photo captured Brenden, Danny, and Andre together—three minds already dreaming bigger than the screen.

Andre founded Design Cypher as a passion project rooted in one simple, powerful belief: great design tells a great story.
He built it as a collective where creativity met strategy, where brands weren’t just seen—they were felt and remembered. His vision, his style, his relentless drive to push limits shaped every project, every partnership, and every standard we still hold ourselves to today.

We’ve been quiet for a while, but we’ve never stopped working. Today we step forward with a site that reflects how far we’ve come: a cleaner, stronger showcase of our updated portfolio, with even more work on the horizon. It’s a meaningful evolution—honoring the foundation Andre laid while raising the bar for what’s next.

As we celebrate this launch, we also pause to remember him. His impact lives on in the way we approach every brief, every pixel, and every client relationship. We continue building in the spirit he created: thoughtful, timeless, and dead serious about results that matter.

Here’s to new chapters, lasting stories, and the team that keeps DC excelling.

Much like our clients’ designs, this bulldog is off the chain. He’s scrappy, he’s barked himself blue, and he’s ready to take down what’s next.

While sketching this, we set out to capture the boldness that defines Design Cypher’s work. The result? A nod to tradition that isn’t afraid to break it. With ears straight and alert and a spiked collar warding off suckers, the dog looms over a broken chain. We think that speaks for itself.

This design hasn’t made its way onto any merch or official platforms yet, but we want your take. What would you change—or would you keep it as is?

We at DC are steeped in the style of American traditional tattoos. While brainstorming new designs, we crafted this flash-style graphic as a nod to beauty and freedom. The red background sets a warm, welcoming tone. The baddie and the bird are striking yet controlled, and the design’s intensity is balanced by three green leaves stemming from the eagle’s tail feathers.

Here we have a combination of timeless, all-American vibes with an enduring symbol of liberty. What better way to celebrate Independence Day?

We designed this tattoo-inspired tee for Village Surf Shoppe’s Spring ’25 collection—mixing surf roots, bold ink style, and a touch of anchor grit. Proud to keep the tradition alive for this SC classic since 1969.

New Website Launch: Restore Med

We had the opportunity to build a fresh online presence for Restore Med, a new hormone therapy and weight loss clinic in Myrtle Beach! From testosterone replacement to medical weight loss, they’re helping clients take control of their health—and now, they have a website that does the same.

Designed in Shopify, their new site doesn’t just provide info—it also powers their supplement sales, making it easy for patients to shop online. Smooth. Simple. Effective.
