Years ago, talking about sales made me incredibly uncomfortable.
Whenever someone wanted to schedule a sales conversation, I'd overthink everything. I worried about saying the wrong thing, coming across as too pushy, or making someone feel pressured.
For a long time, I believed what so many professionals believe, that sales was something people simply tolerated.
Looking back, I wasn't afraid of sales.
I was afraid of being misunderstood.
Then I had a realization that completely changed the way I approached every conversation.
Sales isn't about convincing someone to do something they don't want to do.
Sales is about helping someone make a decision that aligns with where they want to go.
When I stopped focusing on what I was asking for and started focusing on what I was offering, everything changed.
I wasn't selling a service.
I was offering clarity.
I was offering a solution.
I was offering a path forward that I genuinely believed could help someone build a stronger business and a better future.
Today, I believe one of the greatest disservices we can do is stay quiet about a solution that could truly help someone.
If we know we can create value and we withhold that opportunity because we're uncomfortable talking about it, we aren't protecting people.
We're limiting them.
That's why I'm passionate about teaching sales.
Not because I want people to become better closers.
Because I want leaders to become better listeners, better communicators, and more confident guides for the people they're called to serve.
Tonight at 6:30 PM EDT, I'll be teaching Conversations Into Conversions: Selling with Confidence and Clarity inside Growth Access™ in our community here ➡️ Elevate Your Growth | Leadership & Strategic Relationships
If sales has ever felt awkward, intimidating, or uncomfortable, I hope you'll join me.
My goal isn't to teach you how to pressure people into saying yes.
It's to help you lead conversations with confidence, communicate your value with clarity, and serve people so well that saying yes feels like the natural next step.
Because I've learned that when service leads the conversation, trust follows, and growth becomes possible.
