Prime Pizza is one of several locations for Prime Pizza. While they miraculously survived the , many of their team members have lost homes, and the restaurant has lost much of its loyal customer base as a result of the fires.

In the aftermath of the fires, they still continue to serve those who not only have lost so much, but those who were on the front lines while this fire overwhelmed them.

A few weeks ago, we watched as the destroyed our neighboring town of -- and along with it, many small businesses and the homes of small business owners who are still struggling to put their lives back together.

Sidecca is a woman-owned business in downtown Altadena, one of the few businesses whose brick and mortar store survived. As they struggle to deal with the smoke and ash damage, along with trying to run their business without power to their store, they're also selling several items online to show your support for the victims of the fire, and to help advocate for the rebuilding of this historically diverse town.

It's easy as small business owners - especially if you suffer from ADHD like I do - to become distracted, overwhelmed, and frustrated with the work that we do day in and day out. It's also easy to allow that work to take over our lives and drown out the pleasure and passion that first got us started.

Taking time to become inspired and refreshed is a necessary part of our routine, and while I'm still struggling to get back into that habit, my muse is the beach - particularly in . As one who is attracted to water and its beauty, as well as the pure and high vibration energy that surrounds this area, posting about it this morning is a reminder to myself to take that time away. Perhaps this weekend.
