I also painted on this jacket for myself. I got inspired by doing this to a coat in her whimsifying her wardrobe series and I had to give it a shot.

Her work was heavily inspired by who is heavily inspired by senior cords with started at Purdue in the early 1900s as a way for friends to commemorate the year on a pair of cord pants. Love it.

I used the acrylic pens she mentioned in her reel and they were glorious to work with. I set the dry paint with an iron and wash on cold/delicate and it’s held up great if a tiny bit of fading but that’s it. So stoked with this jacket and can’t wait to make more pieces like this!

I made these pants for !! Well I didn’t make the pants but I painted on the pants with all her favorite things in the style of senior cords and bode design studio. This is my new obsession I fear. 🥰⭐️

If you or your littles want some fun new coloring pages, I created these for my daughter because she’s been so interested in fashion design lately. She wanted ways to design dresses and skirts but it’s hard to find coloring sheets like this that are more open ended.

She’s blowing me away with her creativity and talent, and it’s been such a fun thing to do together.

I uploaded three open ended coloring pages to my website, along with several other fashion style illustrations that you can download and print for free. I hope they bring you as much joy as they’ve brought us!

Annnddd it’s done! ❤️❤️❤️

What started at 2024’s 100 Ladies Embroidry is finally in a frame and on the wall. It’s fun to see it completed, especially because it took over a year. It was so fun to have the girls give me ideas for each person and have them ask me “mom did you sew a new girl?” every other day. Honestly, the last 8-10 sat empty for months and months til I finally got around to finishing them. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do 🥰🧵🪡

Here’s a little collection of felted and beaded ornaments I’ve made last year and this year. I searched high and low this year for cute Wicked themed ornaments for the girls with no luck so I made my own. I hope they stay with them for years and years to come. I’ve really been enjoying fiber arts and sewing lately as it still feels like something this digital world can’t touch. I hope you all have a very cozy holiday season ❤️🎄

Day 29: UFO

I thought it would be fun to pull the little cow from my UFO drawing I did during the tarot cart series and remake that design into a beer can label. I used the top of a brewing system as the base for the ufo too haha. 🛸👽🐄
