All small businesses must pivot and this is a big directional change that we've been steering through during these past months. Last summer, we were looking at a big sea change for creative agencies and questioning how we could stay relevant. With AI coming on strong, we had to respond. Pivot or surely become extinct.

We are still offering the same rockstar creative work for our clients, but now we have also stepped into the role of wayshower. We can still manage a website build, design a kick ass brand and create a polished print ad... AND now, we can be embedded in our client's team and directing the strategy behind the creative work. Guiding conversations. Steering communications for proven results. We can plan, strategize, partner AND do the creative work.

I would love to share a bit about a new offering.

I am now working with several clients as their Fractional CMO. It's the natural progression of my role and feels really rewarding to step into a collaboration with a client in a larger, more fulfilling capacity. I am able to really work within their team and be involved with all of the moving parts within their communications approach. It touches web, social, email, print, direct mail, ad space... and it allows me to not just be on the doing end, but also on the planning and strategizing side too. With over 20 years of communications experience, I can really work with teams in polishing and finetuning the way that they deliver their voice.

Being a business owner requires adaptability. Sometimes, it means learning how to surf chaos —staying afloat through unexpected waves.

Like many of you, I’ve made significant shifts in how I work, create and problem-solve. It’s a new landscape and we’re all learning as we go. It’s been a long time. And yes — I have quite a story to tell.

I’ll keep it brief, but things have shifted over here in a pretty tectonic way. (in)spiregraphics is now solely owned by me, Jessica. My ex-husband, Chris, and I went through a divorce last year. After 24 years together, three kids, and a shared business, it was a profound life transition — layered, emotional and not without its challenges.

Through it all, I’ve stepped fully into (in)spiregraphics and continue to support the same clients with the same core services you know and trust. At the same time, I’m evolving the business — expanding offerings, refining focus and embracing new opportunities for growth. Because, as it turns out, life and business are deeply intertwined. When one shifts, the other follows.

These next few weeks, I will work to get us reacquainted. Because it's been a while. I hope you reach out and say hi! It would be great to catch up.
