WEBSITE TIP! On websites, PDF’s are okay for brochures, instruction manuals, contracts and such. But they shouldn’t be used in place of actual content. While search engines can read them, they are not user friendly; downloading breaks the users concentration. In addition, they are not mobile friendly and more than half the searches nowadays are done on phones. If you must use them, make sure they have your logo, contact info and website address on them; once downloaded, they can be forwarded, and recipients won’t know where they come from if not properly identified.
