It's a great time to be a soccer fan in San Francisco!

Last week, Bank of America popped up at PIER 39 with an activation that had the whole PIER excited. Anchored by a 20x10 tent, Bank of America, in partnership with Octagon, handed out custom (and highly coveted!) bracelets to fans passing through the area. These bracelets were themed to match the colors of fans' favorite global soccer teams, and people were pretty hyped about it.

At a tourist hotspot like PIER 39, activations like this perform so well because of a combination of high foot traffic and a captive audience of travelers who are constantly on the hunt for something interactive to do.

We had a totally Super weekend at PIER 39!

This past Saturday, we helped Allied Global Marketing bring a Supergirl activation to life in front of the Aquarium of the Bay. Visitors were treated to photo ops, custom airbrushed t-shirts, branded goodies, and more while learning about the new Supergirl movie.

This past weekend, Toyota rolled up to PIER 39 for a ride and drive experience that gave some major waterfront road trip vibes.

The Empowered by Toyota Tour gave visitors the ultimate opportunity to test drive vehicles from Toyota’s electrified lineup, along with interactive education and integrated charity tie-ins. We partnered with AMCI Global to bring this immersive activation to The PIER.

With a stylish pop-up at PIER 41 and a lineup of vehicles outside the PIER 39 parking garage, San Francisco was transformed into an EV wonderland.

Great experiential moments usually start years before the activation. That’s exactly what happened with PIER 39 and Pepsi.

What began as an evergreen sponsorship grew into a partnership built to scale. During NBA All‑Star Weekend 2025, Pepsi brought Gatorade Water to The PIER with a thoughtful 10’x10’ pop‑up that met visitors exactly where they were spending the day walking, exploring, and taking it all in.

From there, the partnership continued to grow throughout 2025 with a property‑wide rollout of branded assets, making Pepsi a familiar and natural part of the PIER 39 experience.

When The Big Game came to San Francisco in 2026, the foundation was already there. Months of planning later, Pepsi brought a 32’x32’ interactive activation to the PIER 39 Entrance Plaza that benefited both the brand and the destination.

Increased foot traffic. Increased beverage sales. A true win‑win.

And this partnership is far from over. With future signage additions and new activations on the horizon, Pepsi and PIER 39 are still going strong.

Bringing a major multi-vehicle test drive experience into a crowded city takes a lot more than just parking a few cars. It requires a deep understanding of venue capabilities and activation permitting.

We’re working with AMCI Global and the Empowered by Toyota Tour to handle the property placement and local event permits required to bring their latest footprint to San Francisco.

This tour gives attendees a hands-on look at Toyota’s full range of electrified vehicles, with interactive education, test drives, and integrated charity tie-ins. Our team is focusing on securing the right venue space and handling the complex San Francisco permitting process, so the Toyota team can focus on the fun stuff.

If you’re in the Bay Area and want to check out the experiential marketing footprint (or test drive the lineup!), stop by PIER 41 from June 4 to June 7 between 11 AM and 7 PM (closes at 5 PM on June 7).

On this day in 2017, PIER 39 helped FOX spread the word about their summer plans.

We worked with AWESTRUCK Marketing Group to bring the FOX Summer Lineup activation to PIER 39. Featuring John Cena face masks and "F-word" themed cookies for Gordon Ramsay’s new show, this activation helped get PIER 39 visitors hyped for the summer!
