A new Marquette University Law School Poll conducted by SSRS finds that 80% of Wisconsin adults say the legislature should have passed a proposed bill that would use the projected state budget surplus to reduce property taxes, increase special education funding, and provide rebates to taxpayers.

In a rare level of agreement across party lines, 77% of Republicans, 81% of independents, and 82% of Democrats in the poll say the legislature should have passed the bill.

🎉Congratulations to our esteemed friends at The Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania on winning the 2026 American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) Policy Impact Award.

⭐The award recognizes the policy center’s Annenberg Science and Public Health survey (ASAPH), a nationally representative, probability-based panel study that was launched by APPC’s Annenberg Health and Risk Communication Institute (AHRCI) in April 2021 and is now in its 29th wave.

We are thrilled to share that KFF’s Surveys of Immigrants has been chosen as the 2026 AAPOR Inclusive Voices Award recipient.
