✅ STAGE 5: ENGAGE HIGH-VALUE PROSPECTS

For this final step, you want to focus on re-engaging leads until they convert. Engaging potential customers can look different depending on your business and offering, but here are a few tips we suggest.

🤝 FOLLOW UP WITH PROSPECTS PERSONALLY: Once you’ve identified high-value leads, taking the time and making the effort to send a personalized follow-up email or giving them a call could make all the difference in making a sale.

📧 SEND OUT REGULAR EMAIL CAMPAIGNS: Drip email campaigns are a great way to keep your prospects interested. Hint: Be sure the content is relevant and valuable to your audience.

🏷 UPDATE CUSTOMERS ABOUT NEW OFFERS: Get in touch with would-be customers through social media and email to let them know about exclusive sales. Offer limited-time discount codes.

🎯 UTILIZE RETARGETING PPC CAMPAIGNS: Retargeting campaigns–on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google–allow you to reach out to users once you have their email addresses. Consider offering them discounts or free trials to encourage conversions.

Earlier this week we gave you some tips for capturing lead information. Now, we’re moving on to ✅ STAGE 4: IDENTIFY POTENTIAL BUYERS

Here are a few tricks to determine which leads are worth a sales call:

📇 ADD QUALIFIERS TO CONTACT FORMS: Add unique questions to your contact forms that will help you determine if a lead is a right fit for your business and vice versa.

📧 SET UP AN AUTOMATED EMAIL CAMPAIGN: As soon as a lead shares their contact information, you should have an automated email campaign set up to get in touch.

🔍 CHECK AND TRACK EMAIL DATA: Watch who is opening your emails, who is clicking, and is replying and asking for more information.

🙋 CONTACT QUALITY LEADS PERSONALLY: Have a salesperson or an account manager reach out to leads. Inquire about their pain points, ask if they have any questions, and consider offering a discount.

When it comes to turning good prospects into customers–this stage of the Lead Generation Funnel is arguable the most important:

✅ STAGE 3: CAPTURING LEAD INFORMATION

Here are a few tips for getting viable contact information for a website visitor, blog reader, social media follow, etc.

📩 FEATURE CONTACT FORMS ON LANDING PAGES: In a previous post, we mentioned setting up landing pages for your offerings/products. Each of those landing pages should have a simple, straightforward contact form to help you capture lead info like name, email, and phone number.

🎟 ENCOURAGE CONTENT SUBSCRIPTIONS: Anytime you provide useful content–let your readers/followers know there’s more where that came from! Encourage them to subscribe to your blog or newsletter, or your email list for a coupon code.

🧲 CREATE AND PROMOTE LEAD MAGNETS: Lead magnets can be anything from a free ebook or whitepaper to a webinar, quote, or consultation call. The key here is that the only “payment” for this valuable information should be the user's contact information.

🗣 USE LEAD GENERATION ADS ON FACEBOOK: Lead gen ads on Facebook are relatively user-friendly and can be customized based on your company’s needs.

We're back with more tips to help you attract and retain high-value leads for your business using a .

Last week, we talked about creating awareness and introducing potential new customers to your brand. Today is all about what to do once you’ve gotten their attention.

✅ STAGE 2: BUILD TRUST 🤝

📝 HAVE A STRONG BIO, “ABOUT US”, ETC.: Let people know who you are! Be sure to highlight your experience, specialties, certifications, and more.

💡 OFFER VALUABLE CONTENT FOR FREE: Whether it’s through a blog or on social media, offering your followers helpful tips and valuable information is a reliable way to build trust in your brand. The key is to always be genuine and authentic, not "salesy".

🗣 FEATURE REVIEWS AND TESTIMONIALS: Having reviews and testimonials from current and past clients/customers on your website is a great way to show your brand delivers on their promises.

❓CREATE AN FAQ: If you think potential customers may have questions about your brand or product, why not answer those questions upfront? Creating an FAQ section on your website can help show new users you’re willing to provide more information than just a sales pitch.

When it comes to attracting new, potential customers to your business or company (aka LEADS 🙌🏼), the first step is always discovery. 💡

Before someone can love your brand, they have to learn about it, right?!

So, ✅ STAGE 1 of the Lead Gen Funnel = CREATE AWARENESS 👀

There are a ton of ways to proactively get in front of your target audience. Here are a few tactics we suggest:

💻 SET UP LANDING PAGES: Create web pages or sites that feature your products/services and offer lead magnets, opt-in offers, etc. Be sure your site is optimized for SEO and includes any information you think would be important for a new, potential customer.

📲 POST REGULARLY ON SOCIAL MEDIA: Meet people where they are. If a brand has a reputable, consistent, and credible presence on social media, customers will be more likely to tune into your content and/or offer.

👯‍♂️ REACH OUT TO YOUR CIRCLE OF INFLUENCE: Don’t be afraid to reach out to the people you already know! Utilize your affiliate networks, promote to group email lists, and ask your friends and family for social shares.

💰UTILIZE PAID ADVERTISING: Search engine ads (Google and Bing) or Facebook ads can be a great, relatively inexpensive, way to introduce your brand to a new audience. You can also explore paid partnerships with online/social media personalities and influencers.
