Big news from your MLK Montrose Planning Committee! 🎉

Three years ago, a small group of neighbors gathered on Main Street to honor Dr. King. One day, one event, one community. And what started as one Monday has grown into something none of us expected — a full weekend that fills our town with art, conversation, faith, and service.

January 16–18, 2027 — "Beloved Community, Rural Roots"

Here's what we've got planned:

🎨 Saturday — Awaken (Arts & Youth)
Heritage Fashion Show — "Threads of Our Community," student art & essay contest, youth performances, and more.

💬 Sunday — Engage (Dialogue & Faith)
Community dialogue, interfaith gathering, film screening & discussion.

🤝 Monday — Serve & Celebrate (Day of Service)
Service projects across Montrose, a community march, and a celebration program for everyone.
