AI has completely changed the game for custom HTML website development. I can now produce the same kind of real, custom-built website I have always offered in a fraction of the time—which means I can offer that same level of work for roughly half the price.

For years, building this kind of website meant weeks, and sometimes months, of designing, writing code, troubleshooting, revising, and going back and forth. It also meant the cost could quickly put a truly custom website out of reach for many small businesses.
That is changing quickly.
AI now helps me complete many of the repetitive and time-consuming parts of the process much faster. The finished product is still a genuine, custom-built website. I can simply produce it more efficiently and pass those savings along to my clients.
It also means I can spend less time on repetitive technical work and more time listening to the person behind the business.
And honestly, that’s the part I’ve always enjoyed most.
When someone reaches out to me, I don’t immediately start thinking about pages, buttons, or packages. I try to understand who they are, what they do, how their customers find them, what they are trying to accomplish, and where things have become confusing or difficult.
Sometimes they need a website. Sometimes they need a better way to collect information, schedule customers, organize incoming work, generate documents, or connect several disconnected parts of their business.
AI doesn’t replace that conversation, and it doesn’t replace the experience or judgment needed to build the right thing. It gives me better tools to turn what I learn from that conversation into something useful—and to do it faster and more affordably than before.
