A little throwback moment…

There was a time when most of what I created looked like this…custom tees, personalized gifts, and pieces made for special moments. Every single one was created with love my customers would say they could truly see and feel. But, as I’ve grown, so has my focus.

God has really been intentional about directing me in this season, shifting my work more into brand design and helping businesses show up with clarity, confidence, and purpose. What started with creating for moments has grown into building brands that last.

While I don’t take on as many of these types of orders anymore, they’ll always be part of my story. They sharpened my creativity, my attention to detail, and my heart for serving people well.

Growth requires obedience. And this is what that looks like for me. I’m grateful for every step of it! 🖤🩷🤍

This season reminded me of something I teach my clients often: A real brand should support your life, NOT compete with it.

When I stepped back from social media, my business didn’t fall off the face of the planet. I still received client requests. I still worked behind the scenes. This isn’t because I’m lucky. It’s because my business was built on a foundation:

Strategy.
Positioning.
Systems.
Faith.

That’s the difference between branding and posting.

Branding isn’t just colors and pretty, curated feeds. It’s infrastructure. It’s sustainability. It’s building something that’s strong enough to breathe, even when you need to step away. I’ve always believed that when you build with wisdom and intention, you create room for what matters most.

As a graphic designer and brand strategist, I don’t just design aesthetics. I design stability. I design alignment. I design brands that can withstand real life.

Let’s be real. Life will ask for more of your attention at some point, and your business should be prepared when it does.

So ask yourself: is your business built on visibility or sustainability? It matters.

This season has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. As an entrepreneur, adjunct professor, wife, part-time caregiver, and ministry leader, I’ve learned that flexibility isn’t just a luxury, it’s a lifeline. Right now, that lifeline looks like working from a hospital waiting room while I sit with loved ones.

Years ago, I didn’t set out to build this kind of life. But I’m grateful for it. Grateful that I can teach. Grateful that I can lead. Grateful that I can earn a living without having to choose between my calling and my family.

To every person who has supported my business over the years: you may never fully realize what you’ve made possible. Because of you, I don’t have to choose.

I’m still here.
Still serving.
Still building…even behind the scenes.
And still walking by faith.
