Thank you to everyone who came out to support Blood Cancer United last night! It was beautiful to see our community come together for such an important cause.

Nakita, we couldn’t have pulled this off without you. Thank you for all your help.

We’re so grateful to David and Mariana for bravely sharing their experiences with blood cancer. After the event, we learned that breast cancer survivors and survivors of other cancers were in the room with us too. To every survivor and every family touched by cancer: thank you for being there. You are the reason we did this.

Every kid deserves a summer they’ll talk about for years. Camp Courant has been making that happen since 1894.

It’s the oldest and largest free summer day camp in the country, and it runs on community support.

This was my third year at Buddy Bash, their annual fundraiser, and my second year serving on the committee.

So here’s my ask. Be a local hero for these kids. Volunteer a few hours, make a donation, or share this post. Any of the three helps.

I loved catching up with news anchor Jimmy Altman, content creators Krystal and Audi, and Rosemary Lovelace, CT’s ASL realtor.

Blood cancer touches more families than most people realize, and treatment costs can be overwhelming. Every dollar raised at this event helps patients access the medicine, resources, and support they need to fight back and recover.

Join Eve Alejandro and Ashlyn Lower on Friday, October 2nd from 6:30-8:30 PM at The Olmsted Farmington for a night of bingo, prizes, and community. We’re splitting the funds between our two campaigns, and 100% of the money raised goes directly to Blood Cancer United.

Two blood cancer survivors, David Betters and Mariana Valencia, will be joining us to share their stories. David will talk about what treatment really costs, the symptoms he faced, and how community support helped him afford medicine and get better. It’s a firsthand look at exactly why nights like this matter.
