Our holiday mixer brought members and non-members together for a relaxed evening filled with great food, easy conversation, and a few fun games mixed in. 🎄🥂🎅🏻✨

It was a welcoming way to connect across the marketing community, share some laughs, and celebrate the season in a casual, festive setting at Phillies Bar and Grill in Latham.

My husband and I love hosting Thanksgiving dinner at our house with family and friends each year.
It's been a busy week getting everything ready for a houseful of guests but we love bringing everyone together and cooking a delicious spread.

I recently went back to Buffalo to visit some friends from my college days - Go Bengals! The leaves were starting to change and our walk through Delaware Park was just perfect.

There is nothing like getting outside on a sunny, fall day and enjoying the scenery with good company. The Northeast has been lucky this year with some amazing fall weather.

The term “entrepreneur” refers to someone who starts a business and has its roots in the French word entreprendre, the verb “to undertake.” And the entrepreneurial spirit is about more than having a dream and landing a big pile of money. It’s an undertaking.

An entrepreneur is someone who takes risks, makes discoveries, and generates profits — all fundamental components of a thriving economy.

So as an entrepreneur, you are valuable in so many ways—not only in your industry or service area, but also to the broader economy. It's like a ripple effect.

The entrepreneurial journey creates unique bonds because founders face similar challenges that most people don't understand - the isolation of decision-making, the constant uncertainty, the pressure of responsibility for others' livelihoods.

As an entrepreneur myself, I understand the challenges and joys of "driving the bus" for your business. I love working with business owners/founders because they have a deep passion for why their company was started and the special services or products they offer to the marketplace and the specific problems they solve for people.

There is a willingness to support one another, to share information and provide help, and to stay connected that is special to that entrepreneurial world. So to anyone starting wonderful things out there- I see you. I get you. I am here to support you!

Keith and I have been on the search to see different waterfalls this summer in Upstate New York. We found this one in Schoharie county, NY.

There wasn't much water because it's been a hot summer here, but the walk in the woods to get there was beautiful, and it was pretty impressive anyway. I bet it's fabulous in spring! 🤗✨☀️

On Christmas eve we celebrate Wiglia with my husbands family. Wiglia (Polish pronunciation: [vʲiˈɡʲilja]) is a polish Christmas Eve celebration that includes a meal with either 7 or 11 dishes. 🎄🍽️🍷

of the staples of Wiglia is pierogi. Of course in our family - these are made from scratch. This process has been passed down from generation to generation, each generation adding it's own touch or trying different fillings.

My husband, sister-in-law and nieces and nephews participate in making over 200 pierogi each year. There are a variety of fillings including the traditional potato and cheese, sauerkraut, and blueberry for Christmas day breakfast.

Other dishes in the meal include a white fish, usually with a creme fraiche, caper sauce, cabbage and noodles, prunes, herring, groch, and yorkshire pudding. Delish!
