Congratulations to Cliff Bosley and Steve Bosley! This year marked the 45th Runniversary of “America’s All-Time Best 10K,” the legendary BOLDERBoulder.

Genesis has been proud to stand alongside the Bosleys since the very beginning—back in 1979 when it was just a bold idea and a few brave runners pounding the pavement. Nearly five decades later, it’s more than a race. It’s a Colorado tradition. A Memorial Day ritual. A celebration of community, courage, and the human engine.

We consider it an incredible privilege to have partnered with the Bosley family for over 50 years. That kind of relationship is rare in any business, and we’re grateful beyond words.

Genesis crafted a compelling new brand book for Shimano to showcase their dedication to creating cutting-edge cycling apparel and footwear by leveraging over 100 years of cycling knowledge and innovation. The collaboration illuminates Shimano’s passion for engineering and design to connect cyclists with nature and to each other. Genesis has been working across their global organization, from Japan to the Netherlands, for the last 15 years.

Maxim Healthcare , a large, privately owned healthcare services company, partnered with Genesis to develop a new name, positioning statement, and identity for a new, adjacent business that primarily focuses on helping adults who need a little assistance to continue living independently in their homes.

Villi , a brand rooted in the idea that “it takes a village,” provides A Little Help, A Lotta Heart on demand, offering support for individuals and peace of mind for their families and loved ones, no matter the distance, by connecting them with trusted, vetted and compassionate caregivers from the community.

The start of the ###III Olympiad reminds us of our own Olympic beginning. In 1970, Denver successfully won its bid to host the '76 Winter Olympics, a monumental victory for the growing city.

Genesis was asked to help implement this prestigious work. So, our founder, Jim Adler, opened a third office in Denver (after Chicago and Manhattan), and moved here temporarily to help hire the staff with his new partner John Reiben.

Genesis focused on strategy and design, while other firms around the city were hard at work on public and government relations. Our office was bustling with new employees, including future partner Mike Miller. City officials and the business community were thrilled as the physical form of the '76 Olympics came to life through exciting design projects: banners, posters and scale models of all kinds.

However, growing concerns about environmental impact, growth and costs led to a shift in public opinion. Two years later a ballot to end state funding passed, and for the first time in history, a city turned down hosting after being awarded.

Ultimately, Jim fell in love with Colorado. Drawn by its central location and the active lifestyle that comes with the Rocky Mountains, he decided to make Denver his permanent home. Our other offices eventually closed, but Genesis has remained firmly rooted here ever since.

We are eternally grateful to Jim for his Olympic-sized heart and his endless passion for leveraging strategy and design to create opportunities for our clients.

The BOLDERBoulder has been our longest-running client, 43 years and counting. We loved seeing "America's All Time Best 10K” finally back live, in-person this year in the city of Boulder, CO. We’re proud to have been their partner since the very beginning for naming, advertising, marketing, website and brand strategy. We can't wait for 2023!
