I thought it was time to do an update on this page,
reintroduce myself and tell how I began telling stories.

My name is Debbie Sammons, I am a wife mom and Nana. I started telling stories as a girl at the age of 15, to my younger sister JoLynn. We are almost 13 years apart. I told her a story about a pink mouse who became her best friend. I used my stories to bribe her to sleep with me. She only stayed for the stories. Lol

Later as a mom , I used my stories to entertain my children on trips and instill faith in them. I always felt honored when they had company over and asked for a story. There were many story lines. I wish I had recorded them or written them down as I told them. Sometimes miracles were needed. They, as the main characters prayed, saw angels and saw great things take place. I cherish the memories we shared through our stories.

As a Nana it became even more fun. Some of our best stores were shared in the swing on my front porch. My imagination knew no limits. My grands were always the main characters and we had such great adventures. I remember Huck saying how he wished the adventures were real. These were the best of times.

“A TuTu Christmas,” is a story I told Harper about an actual event we went to, with her Aunt Lisa and Cousin Kelli. I just embellished a bit and made it way more fun.

“Huck the Bull Rider,” is about an actual conversation Huck and I had about his desire to be a bull rider at age four, turned into a story.
Both books are on sale!

I hope to have more books in the future. I have two more grand daughters who need books and many more stories to tell.

Huck the Bull Rider is a great bedtime story. Since it’s Christmas I am going to give a couple away. Post pictures in Christmas pjs. I will do a random drawing from participants on the 23rd. Let’s have some fun. If you already have one get one to give away. Let me see those pjs.

I have so neglected writing. My creativity is a little stifled. I hope to get back in the groove. In the mean time I have a ton of Huck the Bull Riders on hand. I would love to send you a signed copy!

Hey y’all! I have been so busy juggling life I have not promoted my book “Huck the Bull Rider” in forever.
This would be a great addition to your child’s Easter basket. This is a fun story and will reinforce the power of prayer in your child’s mind.
I would love to mail or deliver locally a signed copy.
I will be ordering more bulls soon. So please let me know if you want a bull also.

I just read this book written by my high school friend Candy Trenary, from Louisiana. If your heart has ever been broken if you have ever been or are currently in a trial this book will bless you long after you finish reading it. Our God is so awesome. He will never leave us or forsake us.

If you want more than just an entertaining story to read to your kiddos...you might consider “Huck the Bull Rider” While this story is indeed entertaining it also sends a message about the power of prayer.

Hey y’all! It has been a while since I posted here. I need to shout out the local businesses here in town that are selling books for me. Scurlocks’s Florist, Melanie’s and All Dressed Up!!! It was so nice to go in All Dressed Up and be handed money for two book sales. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I will be getting more of the soft bulls to sell with the books for Christmas sales. I will update.
