As a marketer, the Callaway Golf and goodgood ad made no sense to me except to serve as an example to other brands that not all attention is good for business. I didn't learn anything about the driver, understand the benefit of the collab, or feel a call to action to purchase the club. It was dark and distasteful AND ineffective.

However --- As a mother of a girl golfer, it hit different. The ad felt like these two companies were showing the world that it's okay to shove a woman to the ground and stand over her to ridicule her. What makes it really sad is that everyone involved in that commercial -- writing, producing, acting, editing, and publishing, and more--has a mother, and some have sisters, girlfriends, wives, aunts, grandmothers, and....daughters. Even still, no one pumped the brakes. I think that hurts the most. I understand they were trying to produce a parody about the new movie Obsession, but this ad screamed DV. Not to mention, gave off a nasty vibe - we don't want you playing with our clubs, or IN our club.

The 'apologies' have been issued and I'm sure new ad policies are in place. Content creation, as goodgood is famous for, is different than traditional ads, but should still remain appropriate (and inclusive if that's what they claim). What can we do? Support golf brands that respect everyone. Watch to see their actions going forward. But most importantly - remember your young daughters and nieces and granddaughters are watching this go down. They hear grown-ups laughing at this ad. Let them know you don't approve. They deserve better. Please, do better.

Book cover re-design! My client’s book cover needed to work harder to grab attention from potential customers. I’m so excited about how this turned out. Amazing story, and inspirational speaker if you’re looking for something encouraging! Available on Amazon! https://a.co/d/03o0yKi8

Best of the P*e Dee 2026 - Thank you for helping me support my family and my dreams!! Whether you're family, friend, client, or fan, I appreciate your support more thank you know! The past year was honestly more than I could handle -- I taught high school while I kept two businesses going, suffered a debilitating concussion from a car wreck in the fall, and had an unexpected major surgery in the spring. I have never felt so loved and supported through it all. To God be the glory for where I am today, and for the wonderful people who held me up when life was just too much. We are blessed with some really wonderful marketers and processors in the area, I'm thankful to serve our small businesses alongside them. I've been working on a new project, and I look forward to sharing it with you very soon! With a grateful heart, Linzie B

My new favorite product and I haven’t even tried it yet. It’s a “manly” shower gel. That smells like marshmallows. 😂 But they are “charred” and it’s for “Serial Grillers,” and the Mike Meyers-ish mask? I have so many questions, but it smells delicious!! Are they targeting the men or the women here? I’ll share reviews asap! ?
