Decided to make a flyer/poster for the Irish band I play in for our upcoming St. Pat's shows. For me, this image tells a thousand stories about our musical gang 😆

This past Thursday was the last work day for a long-time employee of Nine Irish Brothers, one of many of the fine folks I have had the privilege of working beside and getting to know during my 6+ years of working there.

As a parting gift, I designed this farewell card for him. We have certainly done our fair share of Pokemon Go raids, and enjoyed Irish band member's renderings of themselves as centaurs. It's tough to encapsulate several years into a single image, but I tried my best! He will be missed!

During these disturbing times, distractions abound. Like a lot of people, managing my health and finances are at the forefront of my concerns. Unfortunately, this has negatively impacted my creative side, which I try to remind myself everyday to stoke the flame before it goes out.

I have made a lot of handmade greeting cards for my friends and family, and this one is inspired by disney princess alternative art stickers that a friend of mine sent. Their edgy, rebellious looks really spoke to me, so I attempted to give one of my favorite princesses the same treatment.

After creating two designs for apparel at my place of work, I feel that I have become the unofficial graphic designer for Nine Irish Brothers Pub in Indy! Getting feedback from guests and coworkers alike has been enjoyable and has influenced both designs. Get the St.Pat's shirt before we sell out next weekend!

In my quest to create all furnishings that are Irish, I have created this tall pub table from my place of work. I textured the base with a simple concrete, which emulates the coated cast iron bases the tables have.

I also learned today that one should first use soft-shading (instead of hard-shading), before baking the Hi-Res normal unto the Lo-Res model. I kept getting weird fades on the polygon lines in Substance Painter, which I found out was due to the hard-shading I had been using in Maya.

This was a model of the New Balance Numeric 212 that I created for New Balance as a test of my skills. It was a challenge to create in 2 weeks with having no previous knowledge of the Foundry's Modo software I used to make it, but I am very pleased with the result!

Very happy to have worked with Andy Hall and Willo Labs in order to develop a new logo for their eReader. The journey towards the final product is what always excites me, for it can be a winding road, and I'm proud to say that I have reached the milestone of having been compensated for my services in an official capacity. Looking forward to the next opportunity!
