🚗 A Billboard Built to Make an Impact

I’m excited to share a recent billboard design series I created for Rome Pre-Owned Auto Sales Inc.

The goal was to create something simple, warm, and eye-catching that connects with families (and pets 🐾) while highlighting what RPO is known for: family-friendly service and genuine care for their customers.

From developing the creative concepts and messaging to selecting the imagery and designing the final billboard, this was a fun project from start to finish.

I had two great client meetings today, and one of them was with Tiger Lily Quilt Co quilt in Utica.

💎What an absolute gem of a place! I HAD NO IDEA!! Check the pics and their FB page. 🏵

I was genuinely impressed by everything they have going on - and by how busy they were. It's always exciting to see a local business thriving. Especially quilting!

I feel like I constantly see people asking online where they can find specialty fabrics, unique patterns, or quality quilting supplies, and let me tell you... this place has so many beautiful fabrics, colors, and patterns. Whether you're an experienced quilter or just starting your next creative project in need of fabric, it's definitely worth checking out.

Tiger Lily Quilt Co. is a locally owned quilt and fabric shop at 809 Court Street in Utica. They've been serving the Mohawk Valley quilting community for years, offering premium quilting fabrics, supplies, classes, and a welcoming space where makers can learn, create, and connect.

Meet my most valuable unpaid intern - my husband - Chris! 🤣 He is always coming up with creative ideas for me. 🙏🏼

Last night we had our semi quarterly date night/business meeting hahahaa what else would we talk just besides the kids?

Mōtus Utica was phenomenal! We do not get out to Utica enough. Not pictured are the desserts. So FULL. Go check out their summer menu.

Fun fact ✨ rode the bus and went to VVS with owner JD (Jeff). I'm so proud of VVS alumni rocking it!!

On today’s episode of “Logos Who Didn’t Ask for a Glow-Up” 🤣🤓

I decided to give the Sherwin-Williams logo a little modern upgrade. I don’t know why, but something about it has always bothered me when I drive down the boulevard in my hometown. 😂

The paint can pouring over the globe dates all the way back to around 1893! Sherwin-Williams has updated its logo several times over the years, but the current version has been around since 1999. That’s over 25 years… maybe it’s time for a refresh?! 👀

And let me be absolutely clear: I LOVE Sherwin-Williams paint. It truly is one of my favorites. My husband and I are DIYers, and believe me… we’ve tried them all! 😂

For this concept, I thought about simplifying the globe into more of a paint splat, switching to a slightly rounded typeface to give it that paint brush stroke (I especially love the “A” and that swoop through the middle!), removing the italic styling, and pairing it with a cleaner, more modern world-type graphic. I figured we could change it up and drop the paint can to simplify things a bit! We get it, you sell paint. You've been here for literally ever!!

The goal? Keep the recognizable personality while giving it a fresh, modern twist.

I live for corporate brand marks and logos. Clean. Simple. Memorable. Easily identifiable. 🤙

This is my style. 😎
