What are you doing to get in “prep” mode ??
Here are a few things to consider ::

- charge your cell phones
- have your weather radios close
- stay tuned to your LOCAL weather
- make sure to have your shoes
- charge battery back ups
- pack a bag :: with medicines, wallets, id cards, change of clothes, keys, etc.
- make sure your indoor AND outdoor pets have on collars and leashes are readily available
- have valuable/sentimental jewelry you cannot replace? wear it.
- secure loose objects outdoors that could spin
- take down your American flag to prevent tears
- take photos of your home, property, belongings
- have a backup plan to seek shelter in a matter of minutes
- go to the lowest level of your home and do not be near windows
- have cushions or pillows readily available to cover your head
