I had time to briefly hang out with Eugene at the Joey's Song benefit concert this past January and he was just a standup guy. He took a ton of photos and selfies with fans backstage.

I'm wishing Eugene a healthy, speedy recovery.

For the last four years, I've volunteered to film and document the stories from Joey's Song, a benefit concert in Madison, that looks to raise funds to beat epilepsy through music.

There were so many epic moments with several video teams showing up... a few from LA, one from Canada, another from the UK... and then our very own Madison contingency, all showing up to help eventually beat this chronic neurological condition.
