Edward Canavan, ARM, AIC discusses the implications of marijuana's potential shift from federal prohibition to a prescription reality in Alta-Tude In Comp’s article titled, “From Prohibition to Prescription the Future of Ma*****na.

With reclassification to Schedule III, the substance gains recognized medical use under potential FDA oversight, suggesting a move towards "pharma-grade" cannabis becoming standard in chronic pain management within workers' compensation.
