Celebrating 19 years of Aker Ink! 🎉

When we got our start in 2007, the first iPhone had just hit the market, Netflix still mailed DVDs and Rihanna’s “Umbrella” was topping the charts.

A lot has changed since those days, when digital PR and marketing, SEO, PPC and social media advertising were merely abstract concepts.

But what hasn't changed is our passion for helping brands tell better stories, build stronger connections and earn meaningful visibility.

Annual Retreat Recap Part 3: Give a room full of overachievers a crafting assignment, and apparently they’ll turn into a well-oiled origami assembly line.

We closed out our retreat volunteering at Hospice of the Valley, a nonprofit that provides compassionate end-of-life care to Arizona families. We spent the morning folding flowers 🌸, assembling welcome folders 📁 and becoming deeply invested in the structural integrity of washcloth puppies. 🐶

Knowing these small touches will help welcome hospice patients of all ages with a little extra warmth made this an especially meaningful part of our week.

Can’t wait to see what next year’s retreat has in store for us!
