“The next morning we woke up and made our way to the mountain, snow falling and a sense of calmness casting over everything. Upon arriving, we were divided up into groups and started our day with a safety briefing and chat. That day of skiing was the best day of skiing I’ve ever had in my life, not because I skied some of the most “real deal” stuff I ever had, but because of the way the mountain made me feel. Our guide was this fabulous lady named Kim. I want to be her when I grow up. I was timid but not scared per say, and she made me feel like I could do anything. I had never felt so empowered by another human being in the outdoor world. Most of the outdoor world these days is all about competition; you have to be the best, most gnarly person out there or what’s the point - right? NO! I was treated with respect and given pointers that helped me tweak a few things that made my day and my skiing that much better. This was a human who saw the potential rather then the errors, and was willing enough to share.”

After months of production, and a whole lot of heart — I just sent SANDSTONE (the Magazine) to print for its first proof. 🧡

SANDSTONE is a 136-page visual storytelling project that follows a group of nomadic climbers in the Moab area — blending photography, adventure, and reflections on fear, love, and the spirit of the climbing community.

What started as a personal project to document one spring in the desert has turned into something much bigger — a love letter to wild spaces, friendship, and the wonder that shape us.

I can’t wait to hold it in my hands soon!

This one’s been a dream in the making. Grateful for everyone who’s been part of it so far. 🙏

Hey everyone, I just wrapped up something I’m really excited to share: a 136 page magazine I created from following a group of nomadic climbers in Moab this past spring! (you know who you are 🫶)

SANDSTONE (the Magazine) has nine chapters — taking you from the basics of climbing outside Moab all the way to summiting a desert tower in Indian Creek. Inside, you’ll find photo essays, adventure recaps, a personal narrative about overcoming fear, a love story, and the spirit of the climbing community.

I’m currently reaching out to brands, tourism boards, and nonprofits to explore opportunities for distribution and sponsorship. If you work with an organization that might be aligned — or know someone who does — I’d love to connect.

Drop me a message if you’d like to see the draft copy before I launch it out into the world!

Thanks for the support — y’all are the best!

✨ Saying “no” can feel harsh… but sometimes it’s the kindest thing you can do—for yourself and for your work.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on boundaries in creative business. We all know the discomfort of starting out. We’ve all had to figure things out with little more than grit, trial, and error. But that discomfort is part of the process.

If you don’t yet have the capital to outsource, that doesn’t mean someone else should compromise their value. It means you get to rise to the challenge and learn what you’re capable of.

📝 Full piece is up on Wanderlogue (link in bio).
I’d love to know—how do you navigate saying no in your own work?
