🌟 Happy Single Working Woman's Day! 🌟

Today, August 4, we celebrate the amazing contributions of single women, especially those in the labor force, who play a significant role in shaping our society. Single Working Women's Day, observed annually on this date, is a heartfelt tribute to all those strong, independent, and gainfully employed women who make a positive impact in their workplaces and communities.

As a woman-owned and tribal-owned consulting and design studio, we are proud to support and empower women from all walks of life. This unofficial national day falls within Single Working Women's Week, which serves as a reminder to recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication of these extraordinary women.

To all the single working women out there, thank you for your resilience, dedication, and the countless ways you contribute to our society. Your efforts inspire us and make the world a better place. Let's celebrate each other's achievements and continue to uplift one another! 💪🏽✨

🌟 Happy July 1st🌟

Can you believe it? Today marks the halfway point of the year!

As we reach the halfway point of the year, let us embrace the rich traditions and natural wonders that surround us. July marks not only a significant milestone in our journey but also the beginning of traditional gathering time—a time when we come together to honor our heritage, celebrate our customs, and strengthen the bonds that connect us.

Just as the pelicans busy themselves with fishing, we too have the opportunity to dive into the vast ocean of possibilities that lies ahead. Let's seize the moment, casting our dip nets wide to capture our dreams and aspirations. With every website we design, we weave together the threads of our tribal nations and organizations, creating a digital presence that reflects our identity, values, and visions for the future.

As we embark on this second half of the year, some of our local tribal members are getting ready for traditional fish camp—a time-honored tradition where knowledge is passed down from generation to generation. Let's draw inspiration from their dedication, commitment, and respect for our ancestral practices. Just as they prepare to sustain themselves and their communities, let us nourish our own passions, dreams, and goals, ensuring a thriving future for our tribes.

In the midst of it all, butterflies flutter gracefully, symbolizing transformation and growth. Let us embrace this symbolism, for we have the power to evolve, adapt, and spread our wings in the vast digital realm. Together, we can create websites that not only showcase our tribal heritage but also empower our communities, amplify our voices, and drive positive change.

Dahotra encourages each and every one of you to make the most of this second half of the year. Reflect on your goals, dreams, and aspirations. What steps can you take today to bring them closer to reality? Share your intentions and aspirations in the comments below, and let's support and uplift one another on this journey.

Remember, our strength lies in our unity as tribal peoples. Let's collaborate, learn from one another, and celebrate our collective achievements. The second half of this year is brimming with opportunities, waiting for us to make our mark. Together, we can create a digital landscape that truly reflects the vibrant spirit of our tribal nations and organizations.

While it may feel like losing an hour of sleep, this change means we'll have more daylight in the evenings to enjoy outdoor activities and connect with nature. So take advantage of the extra sunshine and get outside to soak up the beautiful natural world around us. Remember, our connection to the environment is integral to our traditional way of life, and taking care of our natural resources benefits us all.
Happy time!

Today, on International Women's Day, we want to honor and celebrate the incredible women in our tribal communities. From the sru’ (grandmothers) who hold our traditions and stories, to the k’waa-ga’ (mothers) who nurture and guide the next generation, to the maa~-xe (aunties) who stand beside us in times of struggle and triumph, each and every one of you is a superhero, today and everyday!
