Can’t wait!

✅ BIG MILESTONE ACHIEVED! ✅

We are excited to share that we have successfully completed all required New Owner Inspections, upgrades, improvements, and operational changes necessary to obtain our new Health Department Food License.

Over the past several weeks, our team has worked diligently behind the scenes to ensure that every requirement was met and every detail was addressed. From facility updates and equipment improvements to operational procedures and compliance standards, we have made a significant investment in preparing The Hero House for a successful reopening.

We are proud to announce that we have now been granted our new Health Department Food License and are one step closer to welcoming everyone back through our doors.

Our goal has always been simple: preserve the great food and traditions that The Hero House has been known for while providing a clean, safe, and welcoming experience for every customer.

Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and support throughout this process. We can't wait to serve the Wooster community again very soon!

Aside from being one of my little bestie's 6th birthday, we honor this important day in history, as we're reminded of the impact that stories, voices, and diverse perspectives have on shaping stronger communities and a more inclusive future.

Wayne County Rib Fest tradition: Year 2 of taking a photo with the giant pig. There’s just one small problem… The Queen Bee is a vegetarian.

That's right, a vegetarian does the marketing for a meat-fest. We do it all!

So while everyone else is debating ribs, brisket, and BBQ sauce, Jess is over here maintaining a long-standing friendship with the mascot and searching for the nearest french fry stand.
