Maria wanted a mark that put her at the center of it, and I think that instinct is right. When you run a service business where people let you into their homes, the face behind the work matters. So we built a custom character illustration first, then wrapped it in a badge that could carry the name.

A few decisions worth pointing out:

The blue and gold pairing does real work here. Blue reads clean and trustworthy without going into the cold, clinical territory that so many cleaning brands land in. The gold warms it up and keeps it from feeling like a hospital.

The house line art behind her stays quiet on purpose. It gives context without competing with the character.

She got two files including the full badge lockup for signage, shirts, and her website header, plus the standalone character for social avatars and anywhere the circle would crowd the space. A logo that only works at one size is a logo that will frustrate you in six months.

Congratulations, Maria. Go get it.

Meet the new mark for Maritza Bermudez Alonso.

Maritza came to me with a logo she’d generated with AI. On the surface it looked fine, but the moment she tried to actually use it (business cards, book covers, social icons, a spine label) the cracks showed. AI image generators aren’t built for logo work. They don’t understand vector scalability, they can’t guarantee the mark stays crisp at 32px or holds up printed six feet wide, and the “polish” is often just a flat gradient slapped over a shape that was never built with real typographic or structural logic. It reads dull because there’s no intentionality behind the linework, just pattern-matching.

For her rebrand, I built a custom monogram: an interlocking M/B/A in warm gold and silver metallic tones, designed as true vector art so it scales cleanly from a favicon to a full cover treatment. Every curve was drawn with purpose, not generated and hoped for.

If your AI-made logo is falling flat under real-world use, that’s a tool problem. Let’s build something that actually holds up.

Some brands whisper.

This one hums like stardust and keeps secrets in ink.

“Phoenix Almanac” was built by hand: every curve intentional, every serif carrying a little weight, a little magic. There’s a rhythm to lettering like this… the kind you don’t just see, you feel. Like turning the first page of something that might change you.

The feather? A quiet nod to stories, to knowledge, and to the kind of transformation that doesn’t ask permission.

Custom lettering isn’t about picking something pretty off a shelf. It’s about crafting a voice that could never belong to anyone else.

If your brand is ready to feel a little more like itself, and a little less like everything else, you know where to find me.
