Lace and Belle Designs is a boutique design company specializing in wedding invitations, event stationery + hand lettering. We work one-on-one with each of our clients offering a personalized experience from start to finish. We believe that choosing your paper goods should not only capture each couple’s personality with a modern approach, but should also be a fun part of the wedding planning process. When Meghan shared that she wanted her invitations to feel clean and classic, with a nod to the NYC skyline, I knew we were going to create something beautiful. ✨

The main invitation was printed in green ink on crisp, white double-thick paper with a blind letterpress border. The green details card added a pop of color, while an additional oval silhouette-shaped insert card featured a punch bowl illustration…a subtle reference to the groom’s service in the U.S. Navy.

On Saturday we hosted a surprise party for our mom, here’s how it went! ✨

My brother, sister-in-law, nieces, and nephews drove up on Thursday…a secret we’ve been keeping for months! We gathered some of her favorite people for an intimate celebration and made sure her favorite things were part of the day, including sunflowers 🌻 and hydrangea in the florals, pistachio cake, donuts from her favorite market, and even country music subtly playing throughout the party.
