LOOKING FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST who can learn to love construction. 🧡

Our clients give us plenty to work with. We’re looking for someone to help decide what hits the feed next.

You’ll work closely with our team to plan content, write captions, create simple graphics in Illustrator, and keep up with comments and messages. Our team supplies the photos and finished videos. You’ll help get the stories behind them.

You don’t need to know construction yet. You do need to write well, ask questions, and follow through.

We’re looking for:
• 1–3 years of professional social media experience
• Comfort with Meta Business Suite and business social accounts
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator

We’ll introduce client accounts gradually and help you learn as you go. We’re a small, close team looking for someone who wants to build a career here.

🏢 Full-time, in-office in Charleston
💵 $22/hour · Two weeks of PTO per year
🏠Occasional work-from-home flexibility may be considered once you’re managing the work independently

We’re hiring a full-time Photo + Video Editor. We’re looking for someone to work in the office with us.

Our person has an eye. They can’t always explain it, but they can see it.

If that’s you, you notice when one video clip is suddenly greener than the one before it. You see when five photos are supposed to work together but one doesn’t quite match. You notice the random thing in the background everyone else missed.

That stuff matters to us.

Studio Barn Creative is a small and growing marketing agency working exclusively in the construction industry. Our cameras come back with excavators, concrete crews, commercial lighting projects, stone fabrication, heavy equipment and a whole lot of dirt.

We need someone to help us turn all of that into really good finished work.

This isn’t a senior-level position. But we are looking for someone with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Premiere + Lightroom Classic who already knows what they’re doing — but also knows there’s a lot more to learn.

Someone curious. Someone who experiments. Someone who watches the tutorial because they need to know how that edit was done and then tries to make it happen.

And someone who wants to get really good at this.

The details:
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm
• In-person at Studio Barn Creative
• $20–$22/hour
• W-2 position
• Premiere + Lightroom Classic
• Photo AND video editing
• Room to learn, experiment and make a noticeable difference within our team

And this part is important: You MUST have samples of your editing work to apply.

You don’t need a giant professional portfolio. We do need to see what you can do.

Capturing photos isn't all we do, but it is definitely one of our favorite parts.

It's a unique opportunity to get to experience and learn from so many different types of construction environments.

Most General contractors are great at what they do. Many don’t have time or don’t know how to effectively promote that. This group we started working with is no different. They’ve performed work for the Charleston RiverDogs and College of Charleston, and at facilities like Stoney Field, TD Arena, and hundreds of other locations.

We’ve begun helping this group rank for the searches and highlight the work that matters most to them. Within a couple of weeks, they told us they got their first website inquiry in quite some time and it turned into an active project.

We are also building a new website with an added focus on Ai search, rolling out and updating a focused social presence including LinkedIn, creating printed items like project site signage and leave behind assets, and writing helpful email automation communications to keep their brand in potential customer’s awareness.
