This project has been a while in the making. And its probably one of my proudest achievements as a filmmaker. Not only was I able to bring together a team of dynamite professionals, but also create a signature piece for an incredible group for their year end fundraiser. It was shown along side Mr. Tim Tebow and together we raised nearly $200,000 for the organization!

I’ve been blessed to work with a lot of great folks over the years. And don’t get me wrong, I love all my clients, but Darling Down South might take the 👑

It’s always a treat to get to work with one of Atlanta’s top bloggers. Probably because she makes my job super easy and it never really feels like work.

Whether it’s cooking up yummy recipes and cocktails, visiting beautiful local destinations, or touring homes it’s always an adventure.

NEW CAMERA ALERT 🎥🚨 As someone who has used all kinds of cameras over the past decade, as well as being a pretty big tech nerd, I’m always looking for the “perfect camera.” Only thing is- it doesn’t exist. If it did, everyone would use it and nothing else. But the beauty of cameras is that you can get what works for you.
So after a LOT of research (my wife could probably tell you everything about this camera too. Sorry babe!) I have picked up the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K

I’ve spent the last several weeks buying various parts for the rig and assembling and disassembling to get it to this point. Some parts I had already from previous rigs, but a lot is new:
Smallrig cage, top handle, monitor mount, rail system, cable clamp, lens support, and ssd holder
Canon 24-105 f/4 IS (old faithful)
Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 for when I need wider and/or faster shots
Metabones speed booster ultra, (which makes the f/4 into f/2.8 😍)
Samsung 1TB T5 SSD
SmallHD focus 5 monitor
Indipro Tools micro v-mount battery and plate (which flips up to be nice and compact)
And a cheap old follow focus and rods I’ve had forever

I’m sure this rig will change as I shoot various projects, or get bored, but this is the set up for now.
