I’ve photographed dozens of homes in the coastal community of Bodega Harbour, and this is definitely one of my favorites.

Homes this thoughtful and elegant are the result of many talented people working together. When architecture, design, craftsmanship, and nature come together this well, it gives me the opportunity to bring my own artistry and creativity to the photography.

As a teenager growing up in NY, I would read Robb Report and visualize myself traveling to all those luxe places, driving Lambos, eating the finest cuisine. As an adult, I've checked a bunch of boxes off my list, and I'm more into old Broncos than Lambos, but living here in West Sonoma County, CA puts me right in range of the finest of the fine. This plant is called a rough horsetail. It is a prehistoric "living fossil" that has existed for roughly 350 million years. I was hiking in Humboldt State Park a while back when it caught my eye. Never knew these were so colorful until I saw them backlit.
