She Who Mothers: A Portrait of Her 🥹💕

Still taking in how special this day was. The energy in the room was something we’ll never forget.

So grateful to every woman who came and helped make this experience feel so meaningful and full of life. Thank you for allowing us to create a space where those who mother could feel seen, celebrated, and poured into.

A few moments from a beautiful day we’ll carry with us forever. ✨📸

There’s a difference between caring for mothers and becoming one.

spent years as an OB-GYN supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum, but stepping into motherhood herself brought a deeper understanding.

Because postpartum doesn’t just change your body.
It can also shift how support shows up in your life.

For some, that support feels present and steady.
For others, it may feel different than expected or even distant.

Wherever you find yourself in that experience, your feelings are valid.

To the mothers navigating this season with more on their shoulders than they anticipated, we see you.

Honor yourself.
Care for yourself in the ways that are available to you.
And give yourself grace as you continue to find your rhythm.

If this resonated with you, comment "SUPPORT" and we’ll share the full video. 🤍

Grieving who you were before motherhood is real, especially for younger moms. The shift in identity, lifestyle, and freedom can feel like a loss at times.

What stood out to us in this conversation with is how different that experience can look.

Experiencing motherhood later in life, she did not carry it with grief or resentment. There was no holding on to who she used to be, she embraced this season fully.

And that perspective is refreshing.

It is a reminder that motherhood is not one story. For some there is grief, for others there is peace, and for many it is both.

There is something powerful about stepping into a new season and allowing yourself to just be there. 🤍✨

had her first baby at 19 and three kids before 27… just working, building, taking care of her babies, and still finding a way to do something for herself. Got her license, opened a salon… just figuring it out as life was happening.

And now, being older, it’s not regret. It’s not wishing it went differently.

It’s realizing she never really stopped to acknowledge the girl she was before all of that.

Not to grieve her… just to honor her.

Because before she was “mom,” she was an 18-year-old young woman who and she still counts.

If that hit you, go back and give her some love today.

thought she’d be going back to work after 12 weeks on maternity leave.

But right before she gave birth, the job was already gone.

And still… she doesn’t speak about it like she lost.

Because that moment didn’t take her off track, it shifted her.

She was given time she needed in that space, her life moved in a completely different direction, one that wouldn’t exist without her daughter.

Some doors simply close because you’re being redirected to something better you couldn't have imagined.

Comment “LOVE” and we’ll send you the full conversation.

self love isn’t just about you and reminds us

it’s what your children learn from watching you

the way you see yourself
the way you speak to yourself
the way you choose to honor who you are

that becomes their example

because if you don’t choose to lift yourself up first
you’ll keep pouring from a place that isn’t full

and that doesn’t just affect you
it shows up in what you pass down

comment "PROUD" and we'll send you the full video 🤍

Moms don’t talk about this enough…

you get to do motherhood your way.

Not the way you were shown.
Not the way people expect.
Not the way social media tries to define it.

Your way.

reminds us of that in the simplest way… you really get to define what this looks like for you.

And there’s something powerful about owning that.

We asked a few Chicago moms to hype themselves up and say one thing they’re proud of and yeah, this one hits.

Because the truth is, moms don’t celebrate themselves enough.

So let’s change that.

Comment "PROUD" and we'll send you the full video 🤍

I want to know: what are you most proud of as a mom? ⬇️
