QUICKLY BOOKING UP Q1,2,and 3 of 2024
Brands By Jordan is taking less clients this year and offering a select number of spots for branding services.

For a multitude of reasons, I am reducing the number of branding clients I am taking on this year. I'm all about transparency, so here it is:
• I'm pregnant with a baby girl due in May and I'm chasing my 3-year-old little boy around while I feel like I'm becoming a human blimp.
• I'm honoring my need for more focus, more rest, and less working hours.
• I'm collaborating with a few local providers on projects they are conducting, leaving less space for me to project manage extra projects under my business.
• I launched my ​course​ for you to gather all the amazing brand building resources on your own.

So, what does that mean for you?

I currently only have 4 open slots for logo and web design services between now and April 1st. Two pending estimates are in inboxes, so that number could quickly become 2.

I'll be adding a waitlist to any additional inquiries, and any project I take on will be on stricter schedules. So I will do my best to help you get all your "homework" done and ducks in a row before we begin.

I'm over here becoming today.

I had my dog and my 3-year-old in the backseat, weathering the frigid wind to run a few errands for the preschool luncheon for the teachers. I was in a mood because the morning had been going a bit array. As my son was crying in the back seat because I told him we couldn't stop to get donuts, I took a wrong turn and ended up out of the way but noticed my gas tank was on E.

So I crossed a few lanes to pull into the Exxon. There were a few people standing at each pump with branded t-shirts and foam antler headbands looking jolly. I got out of the car and tried to avoid eye contact, thinking oh man.. what's this about. One jolly gal walks up to me and says "Our company is offering to pump and pay for your gas today." WHAT?! I looked at her a tad confused as I tried to process. She just smiled at me, saw my kid in the backseat and said "I have a 3-year-old at home, hop back in your car, stay warm, and Hawthorne Residential is paying for your gas." She pumped it full, closed the lid and we rolled down the window to thank her.

I went to the coffee shop next door to tell them about the awesome offer and ask if I could buy coffee for the folks pumping and paying. They said they would totally cover it as a community coffee order and would walk over. I'm trying to keep the karma and send a good message to my kid so I said, "Well let me at least buy the coffee for the gal in front of me."

Still on a holiday cheer high, I thought about what else I could offer YOU, the small biz owner, trying to balance being the holiday cheer meister at home and preparing for the new year in your business.

This used to be an enclosed, dark, blue room with nothing but walls and windows. And now it's our kitchen and my favorite part of the house. It wasn't easy deciding to move the kitchen across the house or knocking down all the walls, and the layout.. lord the layout... we went through at least 15 different plans.

Why does any of that matter, because gosh that can feel just like building or renovating your brand. Can you hop on Fiverr and ask for a logo and buy a domain for your site? Yeah, you can, but guess what - I JUST had a client do that exact thing and we ended up redoing all of it.

I would have lived with massive regret had I left the stupid kitchen where the laundry room and playroom now are. This is what works better for our family. I've rebranded my own business twice since 2016 because it has changed. The offerings, team, style, and even my values have changed a bit since then. I grew, and my business grew through some challenges, so it was time to represent differently and connect better with the folks I'm working with now.

y'all. that's me. on a tractor. in our yard digging s**t up when we bought this house. You should see the before and afters. WILD. (shoutout to for the tractor use and help ripping out thorn bushes for days).

what do home renovations and brand building have in common? Welp....for starters, you really need to understand what you're working with, if you're ready to build, and you need a plan. Then the building might throw you for some loops (there's always something, am I right?)
