My open letter to my friends and followers regarding the state of our Nation. If any of you have ever heard my presentation, or read my books, you will know that for many years I have been incredibly pro immigrant, pro diversity in the workforce, etc. and after some thought and consideration, I thought this open letter could be a good way to convey my current thoughts, and call to action.
Letter below:
"I live in a world of demographic/population data. It’s what I do. I vet the data, draw conclusions, and speak/keynote at conferences to various sectors about their future markets and labor pools. This enables my audiences to strategize and plan with a good degree of accuracy.
My presentations are very well received by liberals and conservatives alike, because they don’t reflect subjectivity or opinion. I draw conclusions from cold hard demographic facts that can be reviewed from a variety of legitimate sources like, CIA World Factbook, Census Data, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the United Nations. Are all my sources always accurate, and correct? No. That’s where objective research prevails. To put this in perspective, I never trust demographic/population data directly from China, Russia or Japan, because it is often very wrong and manipulated.
I am a news addict. Give me a big TV and a remote control and I can spend hours surfing. To me it is a way to get news/information/opinions from a multitude of sources. Do I believe everything I hear and see? Never. When I watch liberal news, I must filter the information big picture through the position and motives of the source. When I view news from a conservative station, I make every effort to filter out the bias and opinions. My system works for me. I inhale all the bias data and then do my own research. It helps us to understand that TV news is not in the news business, but rather, in the advertising business. It’s how they make their money. They need eyeballs on the screen, so getting those eyeballs is their principal objective. This is achieved by pandering to their respective audiences with bias reporting. Very sad, but true.
Right now, we have a White House that provides breaking news that is relished by both the Republicans and Democrats. Conservatives and Liberals. It is immediately spun by CNN and FOX, and eyeballs are stuck to the screen and ready to fight. We need to be very careful with this protocol because it emboldens both sides, but especially the White House, to see just how much they can polarize their position with their hardliners, before the general public turns on them.
And if we citizens collectively stand by quietly while: our constitution is violated, the rule of law breached, our long-term alliances compromised, our immigration policies and labor pool are ravaged, Congress is intimidated, and our Democratic culture is ripped apart, we will be held accountable.
Republicans and Democrats need to aggressively stand up for what is right, and correct, or we could lose the best country on earth.
Look at the big picture and let your voice be heard before it’s too late.
God Bless America!"
