"I have been involved in sales, marketing and customer service throughout my career. In 2001 I left the corporate world to launch the area's first alternative real estate service, providing magazine and internet marketing services for private home sellers. My popular home seller workshops featured a team of experts including real estate attorneys, appraisers, home inspectors and stagers, along with my marketing expertise to empower sellers through knowledge.
In my first eight months in business I helped consumers save nearly 1-Million dollars in needless real estate commissions. The business grew and adapted over the next seven years, eventually moving to an online based model.
In 2008, I founded Mass Marketing Resources, expanding my marketing services to help small businesses and entrepreneurs navigate the new world of blogging, email marketing and social media. I became a Business Solution Provider representing Constant Contact, earning three All-Star awards for the work I did on my client’s behalf. In 2012 I became one of only 200 professional marketers across the country speaking on behalf of Constant Contact as an Authorized Local Expert. For the next six years, I worked with chambers of commerce, SCORE, MSBDC and other professional organizations, educating their members on digital marketing topics, holding local workshops.
Whether I'm working with a start-up or an established business that is learning about the world of digital marketing, my goal remains the same - to empower small business owners to embrace tools that will help them succeed. I love to help my clients find and nurture valuable relationships through networking and collaboration. I curate the Western Mass Small Business Networking & Event Calendar, published weekly on my website, Facebook and Twitter. I also created Volunteer in Western Mass, a page that provides shout-outs to organizations and their volunteers. My Facebook group, Western Mass Business Buddies is home to over 130 small business owners who are able to ask questions, share events and expand their networks.
