The moral of the story is… YOU ARE BETTER LATE THAN NEVER🪄
I often have clients tell me how overwhelmed they feel when trying to start social media content creation — and how insecure they feel about sharing what they do have.
As a result, they stall.
They hesitate.
And in the end? Nothing gets posted.
Because fear and perfectionism paralyze progress.
What they’re really doing is throwing a stick in their own wheels. 🚴🏽♀️
Here’s the truth: messy action beats inaction every time.
Two months ago, I was asked to host the Utica-Rome Professionals Under 40 networking event.
Guess what?
I also felt inferior.
I also felt like I was too late to the game to do this justice.
But with some affirmations and encouragement from myself (most importantly) — and from some amazing friends and family (thank you 💜) — I said yes.
And I followed through. From start to finish.
And you know what? I had the honor of hosting an entirely new group of people I had never met before!
We laughed.
We connected.
We learned.
We grew — together.
The energy in the room was real. The conversations were deep.
It reminded me that growth doesn’t happen in the perfect moments.
It happens in the messy, complicated, challenging ones — especially when we’re reluctant to act.
And even when it’s not perfect, when you do the damn thing anyway —
you realize you were always better off trying late than never trying at all.
So if you’ve been holding back because it feels “too little, too late” to share, post, start, speak up, or try again…
👉🏽 This is your sign.
The moral of the story is: YOU ARE BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.
