Calling all moms navigating e-learning while working from home today…

Where are my girls at?

How are we all doing, really? 😅

Anyone else juggling meetings, school logins, and kids who have been done since 8 a.m.?

Anyone else’s coffee pot crack at the worst possible moment, leaving you without caffeine and questioning your life choices?

No? Just me? 😉

Drop a comment and check in.

Misery loves company… but support is even better. 💛

✨ Let’s pause for a second. ✨

If you could manifest one thing for your business or your life this year, what would it be?

Now the real question:
• What small steps would move you closer to it?
• What’s the block standing in the way right now?
• And what would happen if you stopped waiting for “perfect” and just started?

Clarity doesn’t come from overthinking.
It comes from honest reflection, support, and action.

👇 Share if you’re comfortable:
What are you working toward this year, and what’s one thing you’re ready to let go of to get there?

Let’s cheer each other on. 💛

Small businesses aren’t meant to grow in isolation.
So much of the magic happens when we reach out, start a conversation, and support one another.

Collaboration doesn’t have to be complicated.
Networking doesn’t have to feel forced.
Sometimes it starts with a simple message and a genuine connection.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out to another small business, this is your nudge.

And if you do, report back. Let’s cheer each other on. 🤍

If your brain feels a little full, your to-do list feels endless, and you know you need to pause but haven’t yet, this is your sign.

Clarity isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about creating space to breathe, reflect, and talk things through with people who understand what you’re building.

Tomorrow night at .little.parties_valpo, we’re gathering to do exactly that.

No pressure. No pitching.

Just real conversation, shared perspective, and time to reconnect with where you’re headed.

If you haven’t registered and could use that kind of space right now, comment below or send a DM and we’ll send you the link.

This is one of those “you’ll be glad you came” kind of evenings. And who knows? You may just walk away with a new business bestie 😉.

Strong businesses aren’t built on hustle alone. They’re built on clarity, health, and support.

Lately, I’ve been very intentional about focusing on my mental and physical health as part of how I lead and grow. When we feel our best, we think more clearly, make stronger decisions, and show up better in our businesses, our families, and our lives.

I lean into and follow local women-owned businesses that truly embody this approach, ones that prioritize wellness, connection, and sustainability. A few favorites lately:

co (for events and community)

Their work is such a reminder that support and alignment matter, especially when you’re building something meaningful.

Now I want to hear from you.

Who do you follow or lean into when you need grounding, encouragement, or support?

Friday Check-In

There’s a disconnect we need to talk about — and it’s how women’s work is perceived when it doesn’t fit the traditional 9–5.

Working from home doesn’t mean not working.
Owning a business doesn’t mean flexibility without responsibility. And choosing a different professional path doesn’t mean starting over.

So many women are managing households, raising children, leading teams, growing businesses, contributing financially, and carrying mental loads that often go unseen — all at the same time.

Entrepreneurship isn’t a hobby.
Career pivots aren’t failures.
And ambition doesn’t disappear just because life evolves.

At Women Owned, we believe women deserve respect for the work they do — in every season, in every role, and in every structure.

✨ If this resonates, you’re in the right place.

Tag a friend who’s doing the work, carrying the load, and still showing up day after day.

That’s not easy — and it matters.

Happy New Year, loves!🤍✨

Before we move forward into 2026, can we pause for a moment and look back…

What was your biggest win of 2025?

As we kick off January, Women Owned NWI is starting a simple community challenge called One Win a Day, focused on something many of us do not do often enough. Naming and celebrating our progress.

Did you know women are often less likely to share or celebrate their wins? Social conditioning teaches us to stay humble, not take up too much space, and move quickly to the next task. Over time, this causes us to downplay our growth, forget how far we have come, and miss the confidence that comes from acknowledging our own effort.

Here is the powerful part. Psychology shows that naming wins builds confidence, motivation, and resilience. When we pause to recognize progress, especially together, it strengthens self trust and reminds us that we are capable.

That is what this month is about.

Your win might have been big or quiet, personal or professional. It mattered and it deserves to be acknowledged.

Let’s start 2026 by looking back with pride and moving forward together. Share your biggest win of 2025 in the comments, tag in your stories, or DM us so we can cheer you on and celebrate alongside you.

Show off that win ladies, YOU deserves to be celebrated!
