Just a little reminder from me 🤍

You truly never know what someone is going through behind the scenes. A little kindness, patience, and grace can go a long way — especially when interacting with the people who show up and work hard every day.

I’m incredibly grateful for my employees, and I will always stand behind them. They deserve to be spoken to and treated with the same kindness and respect that we give our customers.

I also completely understand that our prices may not fit everyone’s budget — and that’s okay. There are plenty of places to shop, and I genuinely encourage everyone to spend their money wherever they feel most comfortable. I promise you I try to find items that fit our small town budget, and sometimes, more than not, I lose money to bring a place to shop to Van Buren. That is my choice, and that is ok with me 🙂

What I won’t accept is anyone being disrespectful or unkind to my employees because of our pricing, policies, or anything else that is ultimately my responsibility as the owner.

At the end of the day, clothes are just clothes. People matter more. 🤍

Be kind. Be respectful. And always remember — you never know what someone else may be carrying
