One year ago, I walked into our BeLocal Venice launch party holding the very first publication we had ever created… and honestly, I had no idea just how much life was about to change. ❤️
Leaving a career in nonprofit marketing to step into entrepreneurship was equal parts exciting and terrifying. But taking that leap of faith has turned into one of the most rewarding journeys of my life.
What started with 22 amazing local partners has now grown to 43 trusted businesses who believe in the power of community, connection, and smart localized marketing. Over the last year, BeLocal Venice has grown into so much more than a publication — it’s become a full-service marketing engine helping local businesses be seen by the right people at the right time through social media, email marketing, websites, branding, content creation, and new mover outreach.
Most importantly, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the hardest-working, kindest entrepreneurs in this community. The growth has been incredible, but the relationships built along the way have meant even more.
To every business owner, partner, supporter, friend, and family member who believed in this vision from day one… thank you. Truly.
The new movers keep coming, the opportunities keep growing, and I honestly feel like we’re just getting started. 🥂✨
