How many leads did your marketing generate this week?
Wrong question.
The right one: how many of those leads were worth your sales team's time?
Volume is easy to report. Any agency can hand you a number. What's harder to report, and what most agencies avoid reporting, is whether those leads matched your actual customer profile, identified a real problem, and had any path to a decision.
Most lead platforms don't measure that. Most weekly updates don't ask it. And most owner-operators don't push back on the number they're handed because it looks like progress.
