🎡 Our annual trip to the Walla Walla Fair! 🐴

One of my favorite local traditions! It’s always fun to get out and watch our community come together to enjoy the festivities. From the rides and fair food to wandering through the animal barns and checking out all the amazing 4-H projects from our local kids—there’s something special about Fair & Frontier Days.

An elephant ear may have been consumed… and perhaps an entire jug of lemonade. But you’ll never know. 🤫😂

With more than 130 w**eries in the Walla Walla area, it’s pretty hard to try them all—but my husband and I are having fun trying! 🍷 We’ve made it a goal to visit a different w**ery each month.

This month, we finally made our way to Rasa Vineyards. We stopped in to try their Chardonnay and Riesling, and both were excellent. But I have to admit, the decor and gorgeous orchids in the tasting room were stealing the show! 🌸

It was such a beautiful, relaxing setting—and, of course, a great reminder that the experience is about more than just what’s in your glass.

If you haven’t been to Rasa yet, definitely add it to your Walla Walla w**e list!

There’s something special about slowing down and enjoying the simple moments. ☀️

Spend a little time at Wala Wala Plaza—people watching, soaking up these last sunny days of summer, listening to the fountains, and grabbing a coffee from your favorite local cafe. ☕️

Sometimes the best inspiration comes when we simply pause, look around, and enjoy where we are.

Last night’s Walla Walla Sweets Roller Derby match was AMAZING! 🛼🔥

The Sweets pulled out the win by a mere 2 points—and it was the closest match I’ve ever seen in Walla Walla! What a nail-biter from start to finish. Great job, ladies! 👏💥

We also got to enjoy Troupe Azure as the halftime entertainment, adding even more fun to an already fantastic night.

Shakespeare Under the Stars ✨🎭

My husband and I had the BEST date night at Shakespeare Under the Stars at Echolands Winery! We saw Twelfth Night and it was amazing—so good! 🍷✨

The show continues August 22–30, so there’s still time to go. Don’t miss this wonderful production and the opportunity to support the arts and local performers right here in Walla Walla. We’re so lucky to have experiences like this in our community!

Grab a glass of w**e, enjoy the beautiful setting, and make it a date night under the stars. ❤️🎭

🍕❤️🍷 Fiasco on Main never disappoints! And while their pizza is definitely worth talking about, this place is so much more than pizza!

We had another fantastic meal, enjoying the beet salad, prosciutto with peas and burrata, and the drink special of the week. Everything was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor!

And Tom, the owner, is the best! His warm personality and genuine hospitality make every visit feel like you’re catching up with a friend.

Great food, creative specials, great drinks, and the best people—what’s not to love? If you haven’t explored the menu beyond the pizza, you’re missing out! 😋

There was something extra special about this morning’s walk. 🌅

After what feels like a month of fire, smoke-filled skies, and hazy mornings, we finally had our first morning thunderstorm in months. The air felt fresh, the sky was putting on a show, and I even got to watch a little bunny hop across the path. 🐇⛈️

Sometimes it’s the simple things—a sunrise, cool rain, fresh air, and a bunny—that remind you how good it feels to breathe again. ❤️

Here’s hoping this is the start of a much-needed change in the air. 🌧️🌄

An ode to being a house cat at Kari Arns Design… 🐾💻

The job description is simple:
✨ Sleep whenever inspiration strikes
✨ Lounge in the coziest spots around the office
✨ Add a little extra ambiance to the workspace
✨ Look adorable while doing absolutely nothing
✨ Provide important (and highly valued) mental support during creative projects

Orion and Chai do the best they can to keep the office running smoothly. Between supervising creative sessions, offering moral support, and reminding us when it’s time for a break, they take their roles very seriously. 😸

Every great design studio needs a little feline supervision. Sometimes the best ideas happen with a furry coworker nearby reminding us to slow down, take a break, and appreciate the little things.

Office cat duties are demanding… but someone has to do it.
